To add a Top Tier Project, select the Client, then Click the Add Button

What the button says, e.g. “Add New Disaster”, “Add New Program” depends on Organization Settings, also within Administration.

Regardless of what “level” project you are adding or editing, the Add/Edit page looks the same.

The easiest way to tell what level you are editing is by looking at the Level shown under the Client name.

There are additional program/project fields within the More… section. Click the triangle to expand.

Clicking Save after selecting the appropriate project type, will automatically populate the tasks within the Tasks region at the bottom of the page.

It’s good practice to add Assets that will be assigned to this program/project at this time so that the appropriate project/subproject appears in the time/expense entry drop-downs.

If a top-tier project is not assigned, yet it’s subprojects are assigned, the asset will not be able to select the associated subprojects because the top tier project drop-down won’t populate.

An easy way to navigate through the project hierarchy is clicking directly on the program/project to edit that program/project

To add any program/project Within (nested under, as a child to) a project, Edit the project that you would like the subproject to be in, then click Add Subproject.

Add subprogram details and click Save and it will be nested within that parent project.
